Army armoured suit "SKAT-9" is designed for military assault operations in areas of anomalous activity. It includes a PSZ-12p heavy military bulletproof suit, an integrated compensation suit and a Sphere-10 helmet. It provides excellent protection from bullets and splinters and it doesn’t decrease the soldier’s mobility. In contrast to the military stalkers variation are not equipped with respirators that makes breathing much easier, but degrades anomalous protection. It has a balanced system of anomaly protection.

Trivia[]

The SKAT-9 has the same inventory model as the SKAT-9M, but the inventory icon is different.
Though the internal ID suggests the "Berill-1" armored suit is the successor of the SKAT-9 in v1.4007, the name, description and statistics clearly indicate the SKAT-9 has changed internal ID to military_heavy_outfit.
