Go meet Barkeep in Outskirts is a storyline task that is assigned in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha standalone mod.

Overview

• The objective location is placed on the player's main map.
• Meeting with the outskirts Barkeep concludes the mission.
• The Barkeep sends the player to "talk with Voronin" but this is in order to spawn the Meet Ivancov task and should not be confused with Meet with Voronin which is spawned after the Brain Scorcher has been disabled.

Notes

• While walking there is a possibility, this is a long journey, and the player will probably want to collect previously set aside loot on the way.
• Obviously, a suitable vehicle will help enormously.
• The usual route will be Rostok => Military Warehouses => Dead City => Radar and then Outskirts. The Swamps => Outskirts transition is closed for the purposes of the mission.
• The player has a choice to make when reaching Radar; whether to pay 5000 Ru to the local Monolith gate officer for safe passage, or save the 5000 Ru and shoot it out with the entire faction.
• In either case, the player will have four and a half minutes to survive the Brain Scorcher radiation without suitable headgear (which is unavailable until the Not adjusted psi-helmet is obtained from Sakharov after the Outskirts have been visited)
• If the player is going to take issue with the Monolithians it is recommended to leave the vehicle safely elsewhere.
• Attacking the Monolithians will also obviate the Meet the Patriarch mission.

Trivia

• As noted on the Infiltrate freedom bar page, Barkeep and 'Outskirts Barkeep' are actually separate entities with the target of this mission being already present on the map before Barkeep 'leaves' Rostok.
• 'Outskirts Barkeep' will not conclude any of Barkeep's side missions either and has two of his own to assign on request.
• 'Meeting Barkeep at Outskirts(Lost Alpha) grants 1 Skill points.
