- Actually there are three NPCs with the name Garik:
Garik the bouncer[]
- This Garik is located in the 100 Rads Bar, guarding the way to the back of the bar where you can Meet Petrenko.
- He can not be interacted with.
- This is not the to-be-relocated Garik the protector as they are on the board simultaneously (1.4005).
Garik the protector[]
- This Garik is located in a basement in Military Warehouses, behind the bar next to Ugrymiy.
- He can not be interacted with.
- This is not the relocated Garik the bouncer as they are on the board simultaneously (1.4005).
- His PDA bio is identical to that of Garik the bouncer, so assumption is that this is just a "re-use" of Garik the bouncer.
Garik the damned[]
- This Garik can be found in Pripyat Underground, but seldom alive.
- His name is not defined correctly in the game files, so he is tagged as damn_garik_name.
- He is the objective of the side mission An old friend of Maj Griboyedov.
- He can be interacted with, but it's not worth the effort.
- As this poor lad wears a Stalker suit and not a Mercenary suit like his namesakes it may be assumed that this was intended to be a different character.
