The Lift anomaly is seen in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha but was cut from the game during the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

A harmless anomaly, temporarily negating normal gravity. Manifests itself as an area - usually several meters in diameter - where Earth's gravitational pull is greatly reduced. Forms the Pellicle artifact.

Description[]

  • A harmless anomaly, temporarily negating normal gravity.
  • Has no visible indication of its presence.

Notes[]

  • One exists in the road to the north of the Bridge Checkpoint in Cordon.
  • There is one in The Countryside, as you approach the water dam structure it is just a few feet north of the tall metal staircase.
  • Harmless, unless temporarily immobilized in it and the Bridge guards are upset..
  • Another is located on top of a destroyed apartment building near the former merc base in Dead City(Lost Alpha) (How on earth I got onto that anomaly I can't recall).
  • The other is near the levelchanger to Rostok Factory.
  • Both may be safely ignored.
  • Another is near the Bandit Hamlet on Countryside - ("North Hills" 1.4007)
  • This one covers the entire eastern approach as an immobilizing wall pulling you left, and also encroaches into the few houses there - advise avoiding the area

Trivia[]

  • From v1.4005 the previously associated principal artifact, Pellicle, is now spawned by both the more common Witches' Jelly anomaly and the Gas anomaly.
